Mazda: Making Midsize Remarkable

The new 2018 Mazda 6 offers a variety of improvements over its previous versions, on all fronts. First, there’s added refinement everywhere you look: from a new, sculpted and muscular look to revamped interior materials such as fine Nappa leather upholstery and suede-like finishes with natural grain Japanese wood trim. Listening to customer and market demands, Mazda offers a whole new 2.5 liter turbocharged engine, delivering 250 horsepower – 35% more than the outgoing model.

Under the skin, the upgrades continue: in the top Signature trim, heated front and rear seats are standard, with additional cooling capabilities added for the driver/passenger seats. A digital instrument cluster and a projected heads-up display keep the driver informed about hazardous road conditions along with other useful driving information. An upgraded, radar-based cruise control system can even fully control throttle inputs in traffic, letting your feet relax as the car keeps its distance from the vehicle in front of it – all while aiding fuel economy. Moreover, active safety systems such as smart automatic braking, lane departure warnings, blind spot monitors and active full-LED headlights are standard in higher trims.

These improvements are only some of the new features which make the 2018 Mazda 6 stand out from their competition. If you’re in the market for a new midsize sedan, the 2018 Mazda 6 is definitely worth a look. Despite all the luxury appointments and new engine, the Mazda 6 can deliver up to 32 highway MPG, making it a sensible choice for commuters who are looking for a little more comfort. Prices start just shy of $22,000 for the base, manual-transmission Sport trim, and go up to $35,000 for the fully-loaded turbocharged, automatic Signature version.
