Apple Launches Very Own TV Streaming Service

Apple has launched its own streaming service, set to rival the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Before this announcement, CEO Tim Cook first mentioned the original Apple TV, which is getting a huge overhaul. It includes content from various streaming services such as Amazon Prime, ESPN, Hulu, and PlayStation Vue, all for the price of one app. It also shows music purchases from iTunes as well as a variety of TV channels also seen on regular cable subscriptions.

Afterward, Cook announced the launch of Apple TV+, Apple’s very own subscription service that will feature original exclusive content, similar to Netflix and Amazon Prime. Just like these services, Apple TV+ will also be free of advertisements and will allow streaming or downloading on multiple devices.

Some of the upcoming original series include Amazon Stories, a story about a pilot that travels through time and space, The Morning Show, a drama about men and women in the workplace, See, a post-apocalyptic drama featuring Jason Momo and Alfre Woodard where everyone in the world is blind, Little America, a series about immigrants in their daily life, Helpsters, an educational series meant to help people learn how to code, and Little Voice, a drama about an aspiring singer.
