Whether or not gaming phones will stand the test of time remains to be seen, but some companies are not giving up hope.

One phone in particular, the ASUS ROG phone, has withstood the competition and plans to be released in the United States soon.

Because of its popularity in Asia, the ASUS ROG phone is coming out with a sequel that promises to come packed with more upgrades and better graphics. It will be the world’s first smartphone with a 120Hz AMOLED display. It will also feature the Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset and two vibration motors.

The accessories that come with the phone have been extremely popular. It comes with a clip-on-fan that attaches to the phone’s side port, but this time it has an AeroActive Cooler that is four times quieter than before. It is also said to be able to lower surface temperature by up to 5 degrees.

Another new feature is the ROG Kunai Gamepad. This allows you to clip the two controllers together via a holder, which allows you to bounce back and forth between Bluetooth, USB, and 2.4GHz RF connection. A bumper is provided if you need to attach the controller while on the go.

A dual-screen TwinView Dock comes with the phone and includes a cooling fan, RGB lights, volume keys, USB-C port, and a headphone jack. Several games will be tailor-made for the new phone with boosted frame rate, fine-tuned haptic vibration, Kunai Gamepad support, and TwinView Dock II support.

Western markets will get a version of this phone sometime this month at a price of roughly $899. Because of all the aggressive specs, it is expected that the price of the phone will rise.
