After the release of a brand new trailer for Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts 3, the much anticipated voice casting lineup was unveiled. While the list did not include every character for the English dub of the game, a few key roles were announced, including who would be voicing Sora in the upcoming release.
Haley Joel Osment is set to reprise his role as the keyblade-wielding hero in the third installment of the game. Osment first took on the role of Sora back when the PlayStation game debuted in 2002. Now, almost 17 years later, he’s back to finish the saga strong. Osment has been recognized as a budding young actor who played Forrest Junior in the movie “Forrest Gump” and has an Oscar nomination under his belt for his role as Cole in “The Sixth Sense.”
Alongside Osment, a lot of the Disney characters will have their original voice actors and actresses reprise their role for the English edition of the game. That means that Kristin Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad will all return as the unforgettable cast of “Frozen.” Additionally, the original Hercules (Tate Donovan) and Flynn Ryder from “Tangled” (Zachary Levi) are set to return as well.
