You may be able to control the whole Bat Family at once.

Gotham Knights, the sort-of-but-not-really sequel to the Batman: Arkham games, is still scheduled for release in October of this year on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Lots of promotional footage has already been released showcasing the hybrid stealth/action gameplay in which players control one of the four non-Batman members of the Bat Family: Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Hood.

Several pieces of promotional material have shown the game’s co-op elements, in which players can drop in to take control of another member of the Family, but all of the footage shown so far only shows two players at once. However, according to a new rumor circulating on Reddit, players may be able to command the entire family all at once. Reddit user SuspiciousTension19 posted a screenshot of the game’s PlayStation Store page, noting that the game’s multiplayer features now include “Supports up to 4 online players with PS Plus.”

It is possible that this page was updated erroneously, as the game’s store description still says “solo-play or with one other hero,” or it could otherwise just be fake. At time of writing, Warner Bros. Montreal has not commented on the page to confirm or deny its authenticity.
