Apple has announced an upcoming special event later this month at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park Campus.
The simple black and white invitation features Apple’s renowned logo and the words, “It’s Show Time” written below. This makes people speculate that Apple may use this event to reveal its upcoming services, the Apple News service as well as a TV streaming service.
While the Apple News service has already been confirmed, Apple has yet to formally launch it, which will add a paid subscriptions option to Apple News, therefore allowing subscribers to gain unlimited access to magazines and pay-to-read articles on sites like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. Interested subscribers will gain access to the Apple News service for a mere $9.99 a month.
Meanwhile, Apple is also expected to at least make a formal announcement of their upcoming TV streaming service. As of writing, Apple already has over two dozen original TV shows that will be a perfect fit for the company’s planned service.
The company has already sent out invites to various personalities and companies, some of which are prominent celebrities including the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner, and Steve Carell. The event is on Monday, March 25th, and will be starting at 10AM PST or 1PM EST.
