The world’s largest mobile event has just begun in Spain.
Each year, a total of 2,400 companies attend the Mobile World Congress held at Barcelona, Spain in order to get a sneak peek of the mobile industry’s future. Only the biggest, brightest, and best ideas are presented in the MWC, and the rest of the world can’t wait to find out what they are.
4YFN (4 Years From Now) was started four years ago in MWC Barcelona. Up and coming startups and entrepreneurs are brought to the event in order to connect them with potential investors who may see value in their products and bring their ideas to life.
One of the startups present in the event is Travelperk, a business travel tool which allows business travelers to book their own trips – within company guidelines, of course.
Another startup is Magicleap, which aims to “close the gap between VR and the physical world.” How it plans to do this remains to be a mystery for us.
Last but not the least is Zero2Infinity, a startup that aims to develop space travel that’s both “frequent & affordable”. Considering that most space flights run for millions at the moment, this is quite an interesting goal.
