If you play Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PS4, better check your emails now if you haven’t yet. The Platinum Trophy reward seems to be back, as many players are reporting getting Marvel’s very special present in their inbox, according to gaming website Comicbook.com.
The subject line of the email is “Saving the City from Super Villains? Check”. It contains a free PSN Avatar as well as an exclusive reward for Platinum trophy earners. It’s a pretty cool incentive for players who haven’t completed 100% of the game yet but still want to show off their dedication to the game.
If you don’t see it, no need to fret, as it might be in your Spam folder. Some players have also reported seeing it there instead of their inbox.
“Spider-Man and Peter’s worlds collided. High stakes, relationships with friends and foes – it was a long journey and you should feel proud. Here is a reward for your heroic effort,” the description for the free PSN Avatar reads.
Currently, the game is available exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The good news is that its price permanently dropped from $59.99 to $39.99 just last week. The game also made it to Polygon’s list of Top 10 PS4 Games of 2018, so better get it now if you’re interested in trying it out!
