Called the Learn First feature, Amazon blocks access to various media until your child has met a specific educational goal. For example, you can set them to only be able to watch a certain show after they’ve read an e-book for 30 minutes.
Once an Amazon-exclusive, Amazon FreeTime Unlimited can now be availed even on Android and iOS devices. The service costs a mere $3 a month and if you get a Fire Kids Edition Tablet, which retails at roughly $100, you can even get a free year’s worth of subscription.
