Tittering with Change: Elon Musk Renames Twitter HQ After Dogecoin Logo Debacle
In a move that surprised many, Twitter’s CEO Elon Musk changed the company’s name to ‘Titter’ after briefly changing the logo to the Dogecoin logo. It’s been nearly six months since Musk took over Twitter. The billionaire entrepreneur has made significant changes, including firing top executives, laying off half of the workforce, and introducing new features that rolled back.
Just a few days ago, Musk replaced the iconic blue bird logo with the “doge” meme, causing a stir among Twitter users. However, the bird logo was back for most users after two days. According to Bloomberg, Dogecoin dropped by nine percent when Twitter reverted to the original bird logo.
Musk has taken things one step further by removing a letter from the Twitter sign outside the company’s headquarters in San Francisco, USA. While some may have thought this was a prank, Musk confirmed the name change in a tweet, explaining that the “W” was painted over because their landlord required them to keep the sign as Twitter.
Elon Musk @elonmusk gives just an iota of clue/hint before coming up with big surprises. A name change for @Twitter really! Let's see what's in the offing this time around #Twitter @facebook @instagram @verified @LinkedIn @williamlegate @TheRickWilson https://t.co/uGxMFTgfus

This isn’t the first time Musk has hinted at changing the name of the social media giant. Last year, he conducted a Twitter poll asking users if they thought the letter “W” should be deleted, with only two options: “Yes” and “Of course.” Musk has a sense of humor and likes to keep his followers on their toes.
While the reasons behind Musk’s recent logo and name changes remain unclear, it’s clear that he has a knack for making headlines. The internet has been abuzz with speculation about what he might do next, and we can’t wait to see what he comes up with. Whether it’s changing the name of Twitter or introducing new features, one thing is for sure – Elon Musk is not afraid to shake things up.
