‘Pokemon Go’ players will now be able to dress up as two of the most classic characters in the franchise.
In celebration of the release of ‘Pokemon: Let’s Go,’ which is a spin-off remake of the original Generation 1 ‘Pokemon games,’ Niantic has announced that the classic Kanto outfits of Brock and Misty have been added to the game.
If players would like to dress up as either one of Ash’s original companions on his never-ending journey to be a Pokemon Master, all you have to do is purchase one of them in the shop. The outfits are divided into pieces, so if you’d like to mix and match, you can do that as well. Brock’s trousers are honestly something that you could probably pass on, as they are just grey trousers. It’s the shirt that is certifiably Brock the Rock trainer.
The release of these two outfits has players wondering if outfits of more classic characters will be available in the future. I myself would love for the outfits of Giovanni, Koga, and Lieutenant Surge to be made available in ‘Pokemon Go.’ More character outfits are something that players want, so I see no reason as to why Niantic would choose not to put more into the game.
