Starbucks is on the restaurant technology train once again.

With the initial development of its mobile ordering and payment app, Starbucks is looking to take things to the next level.

The company is teaming up and taking equity stock with Brightloom, a San Francisco and Seattle tech company, that is helping Starbucks to develop the most pleasurable customer experience that technology can offer. They are looking to develop a cloud-based software solution that will connect customers to their favorite restaurant brands.

Brightloom is looking to help all restaurants with this new innovation. Many restaurants can’t afford or have the knowledge to put together an app for ordering and providing loyalty deals. They hope to help level the playing field and help out all restaurants with simple and affordable software.

Why would Starbucks agree to such a deal when they know they will be helping their competitors? They know this will be the future, so they might as well profit from the success. By having equity in the company, Starbucks will profit from their peers’ licensing Brightloom’s software.

Starbucks will continue to push the technology boundaries and with their partnership with Brightloom, they will also profit from their ideas. They revolutionized the restaurant industry with their app and have greatly enhanced their customers experiences. With this partnership, customer experience will greatly be enhanced to cover all their restaurant needs.
