“Red Dead Redemption 2” Releases Gameplay Trailer

After 8 long years of waiting, gamers can rejoice, as the official sequel to “Red Dead Redemption” by Rockstar Games is finally being released, and we just got the gameplay footage to confirm it looks amazing. From the company who brought you Grand Theft Auto, the game is set to release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The good news is that, along with the new trailer, we received confirmation that the game will run in 4K Ultra HD on both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

While these mid-generation console upgrades only add to the graphical quality and not the gameplay fluidity, putting the game side by side with its predecessor makes it look astounding in every way possible. There are additional features for the special and ultimate editions of the game, such as digital downloads and bonuses for pre-order, but what game doesn’t come with those things nowadays? Currently, the release date is set to be October 26th, 2018.

Fans will have to sit tight and wait, but they can look forward to a beautiful, gritty, and rock-solid single player experience from “Red Dead Redemption 2” when it launches. Rockstar noted in an interview that they believe single player is not dead, and every game does not need a multiplayer mode to succeed. Let’s hope they’re right, and Red Dead doesn’t accidentally shoot itself in the foot.
