Have you ever built a really cool fort or treehouse in your backyard, and kids you’ve never even met before end up coming to your house just to see it? Word travels fast in the world of construction, more so in Meet Your Maker when said construction involves sprawling military complexes packed with mutant guards. If you make something truly impressive, you can bet those randos will be beating down your door for a look. Here are Meet Your Maker‘s platforms and crossplay options.

Meet Your Maker: Platforms and Crossplay

Much like Behaviour Interactive’s other big multiplayer game, Dead By Daylight, Meet Your Maker is meant to be a truly all-encompassing experience, drawing in players from just about every platform that can handle it. Specifically, these are the platforms you can play Meet Your Maker on:

  • Xbox One
  • Xbox Series X/S
  • PlayStation 4
  • PlayStation 5
  • PC via Steam
  • PC via the Microsoft Store

Additionally, for you PlayStation 4 and 5 users out there, the game is available to play at no extra charge with a PlayStation Plus subscription as one of April’s Monthly Games. No word yet on whether the game will make it to Game Pass for Xbox and/or PC users, though considering Dead By Daylight is on Game Pass, the notion is not impossible.

Does Meet Your Maker have Crossplay?

Considering all those available platforms, you’re probably wondering whether you can play this game with friends on different platforms. Well, the answer is both yes and no. In terms of traditional crossplay, the answer is no; at least at the time of writing, the game does not support crossplay or cross-progression. If you want to raid Outposts with your friends, you all need to be playing on the same platform or account system (Xbox Live, PlayStation, etc.).

However, while you can’t directly play with players on other platforms, that doesn’t mean there’s no interaction at all. Meet Your Maker supports cross-content interaction, thanks to its asynchronous framework. Basically, if someone creates their own Outpost, then players can play on an instance of that Outpost across any and all platforms, and the owner of the Outpost can still watch the replay. So while you can’t interact in real-time, you can still play against Outpost builders indirectly.

As Dead By Daylight did eventually receive crossplay support (though not cross-progression), Meet Your Maker will probably receive it as well later down the line. If it does, you’ll be able to form raiding parties with players on any platform.
