Kingdom Hearts 3 To Be Longest And Darkest Game In The Franchise

According to ScreenRant, Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be the longest adventure in the series history. While no details on exactly how long the game will take to complete, series directors have warned that it will take some serious time for gamers to sink their teeth into everything this Disney and Square Enix crossover will have to offer.

In a personal interview, Tetsuya Nomura stated this game to be “shocking…especially towards the end of the game.” Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally “Sora’s story” and will be a sort of “resolution” to everything the beloved character has been through since his introduction in the original Kingdom Hearts game in 2002.

This statement indicated it won’t be all “Disney happy endings” for all the characters, as there will be some dark moments that shake up the fun lands players will be visiting. It may be the last time we see Sora as a playable character if the franchise continues after.

But that doesn’t mean this game won’t be a blast to play. Players have brand new worlds to explore like San Fransokyo from “Big Hero 6,” Arrendelle from “Frozen” and a Toy Story land as well. There will also be options to return to worlds like Twilight Town, Olympus, and a surprise return to the world of “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

2019 can’t come soon enough for us wannabe key blade wielders.
