Last week, prolific actor Jack Black announced he would be starting up a YouTube channel in a 30-second video. Despite only releasing one video, the channel has already managed to snag 1.6 million subscribers and counting. After reaching the million-subscriber milestone, he uploaded a second video thanking his fans and promising more content coming. His two videos have gained more than 7 million views combined. Black has stated that gaming will be the main emphasis of the channel, and his 12-year old son will be handling its production.

Jack Black has made some bold statements, claiming he will be bigger than both PewDiePie (the biggest content creator on YouTube) and Ninja (the face of ‘Fortnite’ and the first gamer to be featured on the cover of ESPN magazine).
