The fun thing about Amazon Prime Day isn’t just buying stuff, it’s browsing through Amazon’s deep annals for stuff that you’ll probably never need at prices that are attractive enough to make you almost consider buying them anyway. During the first day of the sale, more than one of my friends were heavily considering purchasing a nest body pillow. None of them especially needed one, but if you don’t buy on Prime Day, when are you gonna buy?
Naturally, if there’s one subject Prime Day is well versed in, it’s electronics. From gaming headsets to smart tech, phone cases to streaming sticks, if there are any particular flavors of consumer electronics you’ve been looking to invest in, now’s probably one of the best times to do it.
If you’re looking to finally cut your cable cord and get on the streaming bandwagon, you can get a Roku Streaming Stick Plus for $39, as well as a Fire TV Stick 4K for $25. Plug one into your TV and get all the random shows and movies your little heart desires.
Has your workplace gone fully remote due to the pandemic? Perhaps it’s time to invest in some quality PC peripherals. Razer products, from mice to keyboards to headsets are all on sale. Granted, those things are more for gaming than work, but who says they can’t serve both purposes admirably?

How about smart speakers? The world may be opening back up, but I’m sure you’ve started talking to yourself more in quarantine anyway, so you might as well be talking at something. The third and fourth generations of Amazon’s own Echo Dot smart speaker are both 50% off, either of which would pair perfectly with that Fire TV Stick.
I can guarantee if you browse around the Prime Day catalog, you’ll find at least one thing that catches your eye. After that, it’s just a matter of browbeating yourself into buying it. Go ahead, everyone’s doing it.
