Microsoft Surface Now Available In 20 More Countries

Microsoft announced last week that its latest Surface devices are now available in 20 additional countries.

The devices include Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, and Surface Studio 2. The countries included in the additional release are Bahrain, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United Arab Emirates. Austria will also be getting the Surface Studio 2 while Switzerland will have to skip the Surface Pro 6 for now.

Starting in March, the Surface Headphones will also be available in 8 more countries including Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, and Switzerland. The Cortana functionality is only available in the US as of now, though.

The original Surface was released back in 2012 as a hybrid tablet with a detachable keyboard. From then on, Microsoft has been expanding the Surface name, which now has 6 different lines. The Surface Pro is the professional variant of this tablet, the Surface Book is a notebook-style laptop with a detachable screen;, the Surface Laptop is a 13.5-inch touchscreen laptop that runs Windows 10, the Surface Studio is an all-in-one desktop with a 28″ screen, and the Surface Hub is an interactive whiteboard with a touchscreen.
