Siri is your guide when finding restaurants in an unknown place,sending a text when you are too lazy to type it, and even tells you jokes when you need one. But according to Apple, Siri is about to have even more features. It now has voice-activated virtual assistance. Apple introducing this feature allows for the company to compete with Amazon.
Siri will now have the ability to predict the users needs based on their past requests or ‘history.’ For instance, it may suggest a certain restaurant with a notification in a new area based on restaurants you usually visit in a commonly visited area. Or even suggesting a coffee order based on past coffee orders.
Is this new feature super awesome or weirdly creepy? I guess we will have to decide when the new functions of Siri are released in the fall.
