After forgetting your password or logging in from your new phone, you then have to go through very complicated, and at times impossible, web and phone security measures. A recent study has shown that millions of Americans are annoyed and frustrated with this process.
Around 47 percent of people are sick and tired of endless security questions during customer service calls. Maybe they should take the hint and ask the important questions so they don’t lose people.
A whopping 80 percent of people don’t understand the need for these procedures and consider them highly unnecessary.
26 percent of people are very frustrated with the security measures associated with banking. They believe you should be able to open an account immediately, no questions asked. Another 20 percent of people believe the entire process should take less than one hour. And 22 percent would give up opening an account with one bank if they knew another bank would surpass the security questions.
I know you will sympathize with this one. 58 percent of people find password recovery for email addresses super frustrating. 38 percent find mobile phone PINs unnecessary, and 65 percent of people find it annoying when their email systems log them out.
