Valve Steam-Rolls The Trolls

Valve created Steam as a platform for PC gamers to access a plethora of video games all from one single place. With the addition of Steam’s workshop features, however, wannabe producers have had the chance to make their own, shoddy games and place them on the marketplace for money. Valve is finally taking action against these “trolls” by removing their games. Currently, around 179 games have been removed, with more potentially on the way.

According to Valve, it was a select few producers that were pumping out this absurd amount of inappropriate games. Most of them were banned for vulgarity or sensitive subject matter, while others were banned because they were made specifically for “achievement spams.” Valve has since taken a very strict stance on troll games, saying that they will continue to look out for games of this nature.
