T-Mobile Rises Above Mobile Competition

T-Mobile US is currently dominating the wireless telecommunications market like a champ, outpacing other carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint.

A total of 1.4 million users were added to T-Mobile’s customer base last quarter, and that’s from last quarter alone. All in all, T-Mobile actually gained 7 million new customers in 2018. It’s a far cry from what the analysts at Bloomberg predicted, only 985,000 new subscribers. This includes 1 million postpaid phone customers who are considered to be the most valuable customers due to their month-to-month plans. It’s definitely more than Verizon’s 650,000 additional postpaid customers.

T-Mobile’s main attraction to new customers remains its ‘Un-carrier’ campaign, which entices customers to avail plans with T-Mobile due to its unlimited data and affordable price. Plus, it’s one of the fastest carriers in the entire United States of America, landing in third place when it comes to wireless download and upload speeds. The top result, however, is Verizon while the second result is AT&T.

The company’s stock price has already improved thanks to this development, moving up by 1.8% last Wednesday.
