Let’s face it, the mouse can be clunky and touchscreens can sometimes provide a better solution, but not always. We’ll be joined by representatives from Leap Motion, Pelican Imaging, and Samsung Mobile, companies helping to rethink the ways we interact with our machines.
Use of gesture is the new frontier in terms of how users interact with their gadgets; we’ve already seen this type of technology used in smartphones and televisions to much success. As consumers, simply gesturing towards a machine can take some of the guest work out of using our favorite gadgets like our tablets, phones, TVs etc. It will very be interesting to see how far this “alternative” interface style can go in the technology marketplace.
