Enter the smart socket, a useful tool invented with the focus of sustainability in mind. The smart socket works like any other socket out there, only this one is equipped with a special new technology that enables it to be safer and much more sustainable than a regular socket.
Using the smart socket, consumers can now worry less about potentially burning up their home in case they leave any plugged-in gadgets behind. The smart socket can cut out the electricity once the device is fully charged, saving a few dollars off of your monthly bill and giving you some priceless peace of mind.
Right now, its main use is to charge only phones and laptops but it might also be able to charge electric bikes and cars and the future too, once it has been developed further. The smart socket will only be available in Europe initially but there are also plans of releasing it to the rest of the world later this year.
