Kingdom Hearts III has been leading PlayStation’s charts for about two weeks now, which is impressive considering it’s been out for less than three weeks. Released on January 25, 2019, Kingdom Hearts III has had over five million units shipped by January 29, only 4 days after its launch date. This number, which includes both digital and physical sales, makes it the fastest-selling title in the entire Kingdom Hearts franchise.
Kingdom Hearts III sales were up by 363% compared to Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue in 2017 and 157% as compared to Kingdom Hearts II in 2006.
