Gigabyte is one of those companies that is working hard on expanding its hardware portfolio. The company has really been putting a lot of focus into top quality gaming monitors.
Their latest monitor, the Aorus KD25F, is impressive to say the least. Those who have purchased the monitor have noted how clear it was that the company has been monitoring (pun unintended) what other companies have been doing and stepped up their game accordingly.
One of the most overlooked components of a good monitor is the stand. It can sometimes be taken for granted until you fully realize how valuable it can be. The Aorus KD25F stand is built of heavy metal and is fully adjustable, without having to worry about sliding it across your desk or having it tumble over. The display can be turned 90-degrees vertically, has 20-degrees of swivel room, and -5 to 21 degrees of tilt for standing purposes. It also has the ideal height adjustment to be level with your eyes.
The monitor comes with two HDMI 2.0 ports along with a single DisplayPort 1.2. On the right of the monitor, you will find two USB 3.0 ports along with a 1.5A charging ability. Audio jacks for your headphones and mic are also available. What makes the jack unique is that it supports noise-canceling for your comms. A Kensington lock is also attached to keep your monitor safe at all times.
The panel itself is 24.5 inches and sports a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. The refresh rate is an amazing 240Hz, which is four times the speed of most monitors. The Aim Stabilizer provides a fantastic 0.5ms response time. The frame itself is very thin, which is great for mobility. The monitor also supports AMD FreeSync, which makes it one of the few displays certified as G-Sync Compatible by Nvidia.
