Your Favorite Flip Phone From The 2000s Is Getting Redesigned

Do you remember the flip phones of the 2000’s era? It doesn’t seem like a lot of time has passed, but it’s been almost two decades, if you think about it.

Now, almost twenty years later, they’re getting a well-deserved redesign for nostalgic users as well as old phone enthusiasts who didn’t get a chance to own one of these babies.

Motorola has announced a comeback for its legendary Motorola RAZR, also known as ‘one of the most iconic cellphones ever made.’ Although this is not the first time that the company has attempted something like this, it is the first time that the RAZR will be coming back in its original flip phone design that charmed the hearts of many when it was first released back in 2004.

Motorola’s parent company, Lenovo, seems to be in a race with South Korean tech giant Samsung after the latter announced that it will be launching foldable phones later this year.

The new RAZR is planned to drop in February 2019 at a price of $1,500. So far, it will be exclusive to Verizon in the United States.
