New Nuclear-Powered Battery For Everything

This new nuclear battery can last for centuries that can impact medicine and space travel.

This new battery can help with future space exhibitions to Mars, enabling space crafts to be able to travel further distances for a longer period of time. The battery can also be used for a more efficient for pace makers.

The prototype is fueled by a radioactive chemical called Nickel -63 that fires beta particles when it decays. In testing enough energy was generate to power a pacemaker, without changing the current design of the pacemaker.

The new nuclear powered battery, Schottky Diode, is a semiconductor made of diamonds. The diamond material can also operate under a huge range of temperatures. The battery was developed in Russia and is said to be safe for implantation.

Check out the video above for more on this new nuclear-powered battery.
