Even since it was introduced into the game all the way back in season 2, Tilted Towers has been the place to drop in a game of ‘Fortnite.’ It’s always crowded, and players will go out of their way to drop there, even if the bus doesn’t go directly over it. When it comes to improving your engagement skills, no location is better than Tilted Towers.
Given that Tilted Towers is the unofficial, signature location in the Battle Royale, you would think it would stick around until the end of time, right? Well, according to a recent data-mine, that might not be the case.
The group known as FNLeak, or “Fortnite Leakage,” posted some interesting data about ‘Fortnite’ from a recent data mine. In this leak, clear as day, is the line ‘DestroyTiltedTowers’.
‘Fortnite’ is no stranger to locations getting destroyed as the seasons go on. However, up until now Epic Games has focused on revitalizing less popular locations, such as turning Dusty Depot into Dusty Divot, Tomato Town into Tomato Temple, and Loot Lake into Leaky Lake/Kevin’s Kingdom. For them to destroy Tilted Towers would be a bold move, and it will feel very different not seeing Tilted Towers on the map anymore.
As of now, this is little more than speculation. Data mines have been proven to be wrong in the past, and that may be the case here. We will just have to wait and see what season 7 has in store for us.
