To create a more personal experience the app offers a quiz on a listener’s music preference including, genre, artists, albums, songs, and playlists. Once the preference selection is complete Spotify will create 15 playlists based off the preferences.

One of the most anticipated features is the unlimited skip option, which would cause listeners to change the station or switching to another music streaming app. Spotify is also offering free subscribers more options for creating playlists.
There will also be more of an interactive collaboration with listeners as Spotify will offer other music selections based on what is added to playlists. Spotify is also changing their privacy policy to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation, enforced by the European Union.
