The 10-game collection will release on April 14, 2023.
Originally released on the Game Boy Advance throughout the early 2000s, the Mega Man Battle Network games were a spin-off of Capcom’s Mega Man franchise taking place in a world where internet users can explore the digital realm with humanoid program partners. The series featured ten mainline games, several of which were two versions of the same game in a similar vein to Pokemon.
Originally announced earlier this year, Capcom is bundling all of these games together into the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. This morning, the collection’s release date was announced: April 14, 2023.
The games included in collection include:
Each game can be played in its original pixelated appearance and screen ratio, though you can also play them with smoothed graphics and widescreen. Alongside the release date, more information was given on the game’s online features. You can engage in private and public battles online, trade Battle Chips and Custom Programs, and compare Battle Chip libraries.
