Cupertino is buzzing once again. Apple’s fall hardware event is reportedly set for September 9, and fans are already counting down the days. This year, all eyes are on the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup—and if the whispers are true, we’re about to see the sleekest, thinnest iPhone in Apple’s history. Alongside the new phones, Apple is expected to refresh the Apple Watch and AirPods family, making the event one to watch.

Meet the iPhone 17 Family

The standard iPhone 17 is rumored to step up its game to better match the Pro models. A slightly bigger 6.3-inch screen (up from 6.1), a buttery-smooth 120Hz display, and a 24-megapixel selfie camera are just the start. To keep things fresh, purple and green may join the color palette.

The iPhone 17 Pro could sport a striking new look with its triple cameras aligned in a horizontal bar across the back. Apple may also swap out the titanium frame for aluminum, making the phone a little lighter while keeping prices in check. Expect new shades like dark blue and copper for some extra flair.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro Max won’t be a radical departure but might carry a larger battery thanks to a slightly thicker body—a small tradeoff most fans will happily accept.

Pricing whispers suggest the base iPhone 17 will start around $800, the Pro at $1,050, and the Pro Max at $1,250, though the Pro models might cut back on storage options, starting from 256GB.

The Ultra-Slim iPhone Air

The star of the show could be the all-new iPhone Air, Apple’s rumored replacement for the Plus model. At just 5.5 mm thin, it’s tipped to be Apple’s slimmest phone yet—shaving off precious millimeters compared to the competition, including Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge.

With a roomy 6.6-inch screen, the iPhone Air looks set to make a design statement. But thinness comes at a cost: reports suggest it may only pack a single rear camera and might rely on the top earpiece for audio instead of bottom speakers. Still, its futuristic look could pave the way for Apple’s first foldable, expected in 2026.

Estimated price: $950, with finishes in black, silver, and light gold.

Apple Watch Levels Up

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 could be Apple’s most advanced wearable yet, with talk of faster charging, 5G, and even satellite connectivity. Both the Ultra 3 and Series 11 might introduce blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea tracking, though these features may need a little more fine-tuning before launch.

Meanwhile, the Apple Watch SE 3 is expected to remain Apple’s budget-friendly option, possibly with a slightly bigger display and even a plastic version for cost-conscious buyers.

Prices are rumored to start at $250 for SE 3, $400 for Series 11, and $800 for the Ultra 3.

AirPods Pro 3 in the Works

Rounding out the lineup, the long-awaited AirPods Pro 3 may finally arrive with a slimmer case, smaller earbuds, and touch-sensitive controls. Powered by the new H3 chip, they’re expected to deliver sharper active noise cancellation and smarter adaptive audio for an even more immersive sound experience.

Apple never fails to keep the excitement high, and if these rumors pan out, this year’s event will be no exception. Fans will be watching closely to see which predictions become reality and what surprises Apple has up its sleeve.
