Oops, all cheese graters.
It’s a rather well-known fact that Apple usually releases, or at least announces, its latest line of gadgets on a regular schedule each year. For iPhones, for example, it’s usually in September, like it has been for the past 8 years. iPad release dates seem quite arbitrary, but Apple has been announcing them every March for the past 4 years. For Macs, however, Apple hasn’t really been keeping a consistent schedule, which makes it hard to predict when the next one would be released.
Fortunately for Apple enthusiasts, the tech giant may have committed a small slip-up earlier this week. A pop-up on the Mac Pro’s section on Apple’s website shows a message that asks users to input their email address if they want to stay updated on Mac Pro news. But at the very top of the pop-up are the words, “Coming September,” which Apple immediately changed to “Coming This Fall” yesterday, less than 24 hours after the news of the curious pop-up first circulated online.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that Apple isn’t releasing the latest Mac Pro in September, just that they don’t want us to know that yet. In fact, fans are now speculating that perhaps Apple is indeed releasing the much-anticipated device this September, but they just want to retain that air of mystery for now. Whatever it is though, we’ll certainly find out later this year!
