When I was a kid, I always assumed the only way you could drink coffee was either pitch black or with a bit of milk. In hindsight, that might’ve been just because that was the only way my parents ever took it. Nowadays, though, I’ve discovered that there is any number of fantastical drinks you can create with coffee, tea, matcha, and other beverages. It’s a good thing to realize before playing Coffee Talk Episode 2, because there are a lot of drinks to make in this game. Here are all the drink recipes in Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly.

All Drink Recipes in Coffee Talk Episode 2

Just like in the first Coffee Talk episode, the drinks in Coffee Talk Episode 2 are created via a three-step process. The first step is the base ingredient, be it coffee, chocolate, milk, or some kind of tea, while the second and third steps are either additional ingredients like ginger or mint or additional doses of the base component to make the drink stronger. One dose of coffee gets you regular coffee, for instance, while two or more gets you black coffee.

The important thing to know here is that the order you add the ingredients can completely change the resulting drink. Using coffee, mint, and honey would net you a Black Magic, while using coffee, honey, and mint would only yield a generic, unnamed drink. This can make getting your customers their preferred drinks a bit tricky, as they may not always dictate the ideal order of ingredients.

If you’re having trouble determining a customer’s preferred order, try to correlate their request with the available drinks on the list. Odds are good that after one or two tries, you’ll get the correct blend of ingredients and flavors that they’re looking for, and you can always save your game before trying anything so you don’t have to worry about your daily drink trash limit.
