At least you can shoot the t-virus…
Before the remake of Resident Evil 2 released last year, Capcom launched a “one-shot” demo that would allow players to experience the game’s first thirty minutes to get a feel for the combat, setting, and general revitalization of the Raccoon City Police Department. Capcom has decided to do this once again with the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 3.
Capcom announced yesterday that a demo for Resident Evil 3 will be launching this week on Thursday, March 19. Unlike the Resident Evil 2 demo, the Resident Evil 3 demo will be a self-contained nugget of gameplay, rather than a piece of the full game limited by a timer. You’ll be able to explore a bit of Raccoon City as Jill Valentine, shoot a few zombies with the new dodging system, and perhaps get a bit of face time with everyone’s favorite abomination, Nemesis. Additionally, the demo will feature a scavenger hunt in which players have to hunt down and shoot 20 “Mr. Charlie” bobbleheads scattered around the area. No word on what, if anything, you get for doing this, but it’s an amusing little distraction nonetheless.
March 19th, daylight… the Resident Evil 3 Raccoon City demo will overtake PS4, XB1, and Steam.
Plus, an Open Beta for Resident Evil Resistance begins on March 27th! More details:

After the demo for the main game releases on Thursday, Capcom will also be launching an open beta for the companion multiplayer mode, Resident Evil Resistance, next Friday, March 27. You’ll be able to get a quick taste of the asymmetrical battle between four armed survivors and one zombie-deploying mastermind.
Both the Resident Evil 3 demo and the Resistance beta will be available to play on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The full game is releasing on April 3, only two weeks and change away.
