YouTube superstar and global internet sensation MrBeast isn’t slowing down anytime soon. At just 27 years old, Jimmy Donaldson—better known as MrBeast—is already behind a chocolate empire, a snack brand, and even a toy line. Now, rumor has it he’s gearing up to dial into an entirely new industry: mobile phones.

According to a report from Business Insider, a leaked investor deck revealed that MrBeast is preparing to launch his very own phone company as early as next year. The plan? To set up a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), which means Beast Industries won’t be building expensive cell towers from scratch. Instead, the company would partner with one of the big players—AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon—to provide reliable coverage at competitive prices.

If this sounds familiar, it’s because Ryan Reynolds took a similar approach with Mint Mobile, which eventually sold to T-Mobile in a blockbuster $1.35 billion deal. And with MrBeast’s track record of turning bold ideas into fan-favorite businesses, this move could be the next major shakeup in the phone world.

But MrBeast’s plans don’t stop at phone service. Reports also suggest his team is exploring fintech solutions and mobile gaming, both of which would add new layers to his ever-growing empire.

This leap into mobile is more than just another side project—it’s part of a broader push to make Beast Industries profitable across multiple fronts. While his YouTube empire brings him unmatched reach (with a jaw-dropping 430 million subscribers), the media business itself actually operates at a loss. In fact, last year his massive video productions and Prime Video reality show cost nearly $80 million more than they made.

On the flip side, his snack brand Feastables has already proven the Beast touch works outside YouTube. In 2023 alone, Feastables raked in roughly $250 million in sales, with over $20 million in profit. Add in the momentum of his other ventures like Lunchly and his toy line, and a Beast-powered phone company starts to feel less like a gamble and more like the natural next step.

Whether fans are ready to switch carriers or not, one thing is clear: if MrBeast launches a phone company, it won’t just be about making calls. It’ll be about creating a whole new experience—one that, much like his videos, keeps people talking.
