The gaming community is buzzing with excitement as hundreds of players have already dived into ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ ahead of its scheduled release. Insider Gaming reports that what started as a few leaked sessions has now turned into widespread, unsanctioned access, with players exploring the game on jailbroken PlayStation 4 consoles.

The leaks, which initially featured a handful of individuals, have now escalated to full lobbies engaging in multiplayer battles in what appears to be the BETA version of the game, set for public release at the end of August. A Discord server dedicated to ‘Black Ops 6’ players was temporarily disabled due to bugs introduced by a BETA update, but it has since been restored and is back online.

Activision, the game’s publisher, has not yet stopped players from accessing the game but has been actively issuing DMCA takedowns to curb the spread of gameplay footage online. A developer from the ‘Black Ops 6’ team expressed disappointment over the leaks, stating, “It really sucks to see our big reveal ruined like this, we were all excited to show it off in a big and special way.”

The official multiplayer reveal for ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ is still set for the end of August at the CODNext event, shortly before the BETA launch.
