Kano’s build-it-yourself computer kits are designed to be easy to follow and understand, so anyone can build a computer and explore basic code.
Kano has started a Kickstarter project to fund the DIY computer kits which provide both children and adults with the ability to lean about and build a computer.
The Kano computer kit is powered by a Raspberry Pi computing module and includes a custom case, instruction manual, 8GB SD card, keyboard, speaker, power plug, HDMI cables and mini-USB cable.
At $119 this kit is a reasonably priced way to build your own computer and learn in the process. The Kano Computer Kit begins shipping in July 2014.
