Fiat Chrysler Recalls Almost 5 Million Vehicles

Fiat Chrysler has recalled around 4.8 million vehicles because they fear the car could get stuck in cruise control. The recall includes certain Ram, Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler models made between the years of 2014 and 2018.

The company says the problem is occurring because of a short circuit in a specific electrical network that happens at the same time that cruise control is accelerating. It notes that the breaks should be able to overpower the acceleration so the vehicle can be stopped.

Fiat Chrysler made a statement that they are not aware of any injuries or accidents that may have occurred involving the flawed vehicles.
