Best Apps for your Kids

Apps have become something of a basic necessity of all adults; however these days there are applications not just for adults but for kids as well. You can find a variety of innovative and interesting apps for kids on most mobile devices such as tablets (Android & iOS) as well as smart phones that run on Android, Windows or the iOS platform. If you have a child of any age then you can ensure that there are a lot of apps that keep your little bug occupied for hours at end so that you can get your work done without having to worry about him/her getting into any kind of trouble. Although there are hundreds if not thousands of apps for kids, I will cover only the ones which I find most useful in this article. So, read on to know which app you should download on your tablet or smart phone right away.

Sandbox Kid Corner
This is one app that all parents are going to love and perhaps the main reason for this would be because it is absolutely free. The sandbox kid corner is an especially recommended app for you and your child because it gives you full parental control while your child is using the smart phone or tablet. It has real time GPS tracking enabled and so you will know exactly where your child is and what he is doing. Other than that, you will also have a control over who your child calls, what apps he uses and how long he are using the smart phone or tablet.

Hand Shadow Arts
This is another cool one from Android. The art of using hands to form different images or Shadowgraphy is something which has always kept the kids interested. It is simple enough because it demands for nothing other than your hand, a light source such as a torch and a black surface such as a wall. Now the app ‘hand shadow arts’ is special because it has around 70 hand shadow art images that show you how to position your hand to make images such as a dinosaur, an eagle and a cat etc.

Lets Colour
This app is pretty simple and can be used by any child above the age of 4. It has two components, one is the drawing program with 18 different pages of prompts and the other is the animation. All the kids need to do is to draw something when asked and then press the ‘go’ button which will then turn their drawing into an animation and the children feel as if their drawing has come to life.
