If you thought 4k resolution on your television was impressive, IFA 2018 in Berlin is here to double your expectations. Samsung and LG have both announced 8k televisions, the newest and most groundbreaking form of visual clarity. The difference between the two? Samsung has QLED while LG has OLED as well as an 88 inch screen in its biggest form.
IFA takes place in Berlin and is a place for companies to showcase new technologies, such as these 8K televisions. All iterations of the new 8K feature show vibrant, oversaturated, crystal-clear graphics and visuals that no television prior has been able to attain. And while reporters do not believe that the 8K televisions will be on the market for some time, this showcase shows that the two companies looking to race to be the first on the market are Samsung and LG.
