Technology: Making The Impossible, Possible

HGTV star Chip Gaines doesn’t just fix houses, he pushes boundaries. The technology world has always been about breaking those boundaries as well, making the impossible seem possible. Most of the greatest ideas and developments of the 21st century came from a spark of inspiration. Here’s one story sure to reignite your passion for accomplishing the impossible.

Gaines, previously known for his tv show “Fixer Upper,” met U.S. indoor running star Gabe Grunewald on a chance visit to the park, and she ended up becoming his personal running coach.
Grunewald was a four time cancer survivor that continued to run and train through what seemed like an impossible time in her life. Her influence helped inspire so many others, including Gaines, to begin running. He even went on to host the inaugural Silo District Marathon and raised over $250,000 for cancer research.

Gaines reflected on the topic, saying “Hopefully this all convinces someone else to do something impossible. That’d make it all worth it.”

That’s where you come in.

Whether you’re an indie game developer, tech guru, or average gamer like myself, you can do the impossible. Our field is all about conquering the unconquerable, and all it takes is inspiration. Gaines’ inspiration was Grunewald, but yours could be anything. Remember, technology advances through creativity and pushing limits. Gaines pushed himself every day, beyond what he thought was humanly possible, and pulled off an amazing feat at the end of the day.

So what will you push yourself to accomplish?
