Taco Bell Giving Away Free Xbox Ones

Heeeeere we go again.

Around this time last year, everyone’s favorite late-night fast food chain, Taco Bell, held a contest with a pretty attractive prize: limited edition White Xbox One consoles that make the Taco Bell, er, bell sound when they start up. The promotion was a pretty big success, and I hear a bunch of those special consoles flipped for a few hundred bucks online. People really like that bell sound, I guess. If you’ve been wanting an Xbox and like Taco Bell, then set out the napkins, ’cause we’re doing this dance again.

From October 17th to November 23rd, Taco Bell is bringing back their Double Chalupa box meal. Order one, and you’ll get a code that you can either text to 72823 or enter online for a chance to win a brand new Eclipse Xbox One X bundle. That includes a brand spankin’ new Xbox One X console, the newly redesigned Elite controller (which won’t be publicly available til next month, by the by), and 6 free months of Xbox Games Pass Ultimate. And yes, if you were wondering, the console makes the bell sound.

As an additional goodie, if you order the Double Chalupa box either through Taco Bell’s website or their app for in-store pickup, you’ll receive a free voucher for two weeks of Xbox Games Pass Ultimate (while supplies last). You’re allowed to redeem two of those during the promotion, by the way, so that’s a whole month of Games Pass for around ten bucks.

If Taco Bell doesn’t agree with your stomach, you can snail mail them and they’ll send you a contest code back, provided the letter is postmarked before November 8th. You can do this up to 32 times. Taco Bell will also open a free code website on November 8th for those who don’t want to go through the trouble, though you can only enter through there once a day.

Winners will receive their bundles within 48 hours of confirmation of a winning code.
