Jaguar has released footage of their next generation I-TYPE 3, a faster and more powerful model. The formula racing car can go 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and is sure to be a game-changer when it comes to the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. Jaguar’s mission statement “Race to Innovate” was taken to the maximum with this new model.
Some of the other statistics include “the motor generator unit (MGU), silicon carbide module invertor, transmission, cooling system, suspension, motor control unit (MCU) and new powertrain control software. The advanced MGU revs in excess of 30,000 RPM, more than double the rate of a 2018 Formula 1 car.” These statistics come directly from AutoMotive TV’s report when the car was unveiled at Design Museum in London, England.
Not only is the car sleek in looks, but it’s also go the design aspect locked down. It reinforces that companies should always develop products based on their ability to follow their mission statement: innovation.
