Huawei May Sue U.S. Government

The U.S. government has been throwing allegations over at Chinese tech giant Huawei for quite some time, and now, Huawei is preparing to fight back.

The tech manufacturer has announced its plan to take the United States to court, citing the intense pushing from other countries as well as federal agencies from using the company’s products, due to alleged security issues.

According to a report in the New York Times, this move could be “aimed at forcing the United States government to make its case against Huawei publicly.” This is mainly due to the fact that the U.S. has not publicly faced Huawei yet, but has been continuously repeating allegations against the Chinese company. Even other Western countries have now been involved, including the United Kingdom.

One of these allegations is that Huawei is said to be creating products that can be used by Chinese officials to spy on the United States’ communication networks. Meanwhile, the Chinese company has been denying these claims.

Huawei is planning to formally announce the suit this week.
